Public Information Request
The Texas Public Information Act, Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code, allows you to request government information. The Act applies when you submit a written request to a government office. Your request must be for records or information that already exists. The Act does not require a government body to answer questions, do legal research, create new information, or meet ongoing requests for future information. Download and complete the open records request form. Return it to City Secretary at citysecretary [at] seadrifttx.org (citysecretary[at]seadrifttx[dot]org) or 501 S. Main St., Seadrift, TX 77983. You will receive confirmation and a response within 10 business days.
