MEET OUR TEAM
The Seadrift Police Department's Administrative offices are located at the Justice Center, 103 W Dallas Ave, Seadrift, TX 77983. These offices house the Chief of Police, the Lieutenant, the Administrative Assistant, and the Patrol Division.
Chief
Chief Cheyenne N Beaver was officially sworn in as Chief of Police on Feb 14th, 2025. Chief Beaver’s career in Law Enforcement started in 2012. Since the start of her career, she has risen through the ranks from correction officer to patrol officer, patrol corporal, patrol sergeant, and detective sergeant in the Calhoun County area. After a decade in the field, she decided to move her focus back to her family’s hometown and took a position here in Seadrift as a lieutenant. Shortly after, in 2024, Beaver became Interim Chief of Police and was later named Chief.
Lieutenant
Lt. Robert Montero began his career in 2015 here in Seadrift, where, over his five years, he served as a patrol officer, K-9 Officer, and patrol Sergeant. He decided to broaden his area and served as a Deputy at the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office for 5 years. During his time with Calhoun County, he served as a training officer at the adult detention center, SRT Commander, and SWAT team leader. In 2025, Montero decided to return to serve in his home area and was hired as a lieutenant.

We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, businesses, and visitors by enforcing the law, preventing crime, and fostering positive relationships with the people we serve. Through community engagement, fair and impartial policing, and a dedication to upholding the rights of all individuals, we strive to enhance the quality of life in our town while ensuring justice, safety, and peace for all.
